How Corrections Are Reviewed

Corrections are checked against official club, league or competition records where available. Secondary statistical databases and reputable historical publications are used as cross-checks. Wikipedia can support discovery, but it should not be the sole authority for substantial historical claims.

If reliable sources disagree, the archive should describe the discrepancy rather than silently replacing one figure with another. Material corrections may be noted in page copy or methodology where the change affects interpretation.
